When life gives you St. John's wort, make herbal oil out of it – that's what the Neuner's team thought this summer on the mountain. The arnica harvest was literally ruined by hail, but in many places wonderful St. John's wort shone out across the steep mountain slopes. This gave rise to the idea of creating a special edition St. John's wort oil using St. John's wort from the Tyrolean high mountains. This mild St. John's wort oil is refined with yarrow and arnica blossoms and is very versatile.
Neuner’s Herbal oil is red oil containing St. John’s wort that is being harvested in the Tyrolian Brixental valley. Soothing and healing it also contains yarrow and arnica and is applied for burns, sun burn, insect bites. It is relieving for veins, for haemorrhoids to be dripped in for inflammation of the ear or as a warm oil compress for sore throats. It is perfectly suitable for pregnant women to prevent stretch marks and for nursing mothers to keep the nipples supple. For adults and also baby care it’s likely taken to treat oversensitive skin and psoriasis.
The packaging for the special edition is made from Green PE, a bio-based plastic derived from sugar cane. Not only is it very practical for reuse as a travel size, but it is also 100% recyclable. Since sugar cane absorbs CO2 as it grows, the carbon footprint of this packaging is significantly better than that of conventional plastic.
