Blackcurrants are also known as ‘cassis’ and are equally popular with the world’s finest perfumers and cocktail connoisseurs. Their distinctive flavour has also captivated Neuner’s so much that we have dedicated this tea to them. The absolute highlight of the blend is the blackcurrant aroma – 100% flavour & 100% natural!

The tart sweetness of the berries is complemented by sweet blackberry leaves and fruity hibiscus and apple. The natural tartness is enhanced by rosehips, elderberries and currants. The blend is made truly distinctive by the enchanting lemon verbena and blackcurrant leaves. Whether enjoyed hot or cold, the choice is almost irrelevant with this combination, as it tastes simply wonderful even without any added sweetener!

Extra tip: Add a splash of lemon juice to the tea for extra vitamin C and a ‘zesty’ taste experience!

Ingredients

Hibiscus*, apple*, rosehip*, sweet blackberry leaves*, lemon verbena*, natural organic blackcurrant flavouring*, blackcurrant leaves*, elderberries*, blackcurrants*

Preparation

1 teabag for 1-2 cups (250 ml). Pour over boiling water and leave to stand for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

For 1 liter of Infusion 2-3 teabags are sufficient.
